Purchased mine @ best buy with a gift card. Installation was simple.

Some people say they dont like how it feels but I LOVE the feeling of the zagg. It has a more "accurate" feel if that makes sense.

I also like that no finger prints show up on the screen. An orange peel thing? I dont see what some people are talking about? Orange?

No need to make this thread. It isn't going to change my opinion on Zagg's. They suck.

They are overpriced, overrated, and coast on brand name recognition similar to Bose or Monster for example. The photo above shows one of the many reasons why I hate them. There are so many better screen protectors out there it's not even funny, and for less money. Anyhow, enjoy your Zagg.

The only reason I could see anyone actually using Zagg protectors is because they are not aware of the much better protectors out there.

I highly recommend Cell Phone Screen Protectors, Invisible Protection Skins & Screen Covers | PhantomSkinz.com. There is nearly no orange-peel effect, it covers nearly the entire device (albeit not nearly as good as Cell Phone Skins & Protective Covers - iPhone Skins, Blackberry Skins, iPod Skins, Apple Laptop Skins - Best Skins Ever skins; BSE skins however have severe Orange Peel Effect), and it is very thin, so it is not sticky enough to impede a smooth touchscreen experience.

Zagg protectors are by far the worst of the market.

Like somebody else said, this is a very subjective opinion. I am a first time Zagg user and love it. They are not expensive, with a little due diligence you can find one shipped for around $10.00.

I don't hate ZAGG. I just installed it, but the bubbles have not disappeared yet.

Also, I read that you can buy a "anti-fingerprint" shield or something that you it won't show your fingerprints in the phone.

Is this another shield? Or this is another you put on top of ZAGG shield?

Didn't you rub it out hard enough? How many bubbles?

ZAGG = cloudy mess

I just went to best buy to get my ZAGG installed.

It is just barely noticeable (very very mild orange peel) when the screen is off - but when the screen is on you would have NO idea that there is a screen protector - that's all that matters as far as I'm concerned.

It fills the entire phone and feels good to the touch.

I think the problem is if you don't have it done by the pros then it's gonna look like crap..

Zagg on the right...

i love my zagg. i would have thought my install looked like the one on the left. when the phone is on, it looks like there is no orange peel. when off, that is when it becomes noticeable--in fact, the orange peel is even more apparent over the black parts of the screen. i dont care what the screen looks like off. i have no bubbles, it is perfectly clear (imo, although i have no comparison except to my crap omnia which is like comparing apples to mayonaise). although there were microbubbles when i was done installing. they evaporated(?) then the orange peel went from noticeable to un-noticeable. but i guess that is because i am using the phone a lot and my eye is accustomed to it. i love how easy it is to clean (and keep clean, it doesnt pick up as much oil as my last phone's shield). anyway, i agree with both sides on this, i suppose. personal opinion wins. if you get this screen, it takes a few days for it to "settle in". i would recommend it.

I purchased a Zagg online from the company for $14.99 and saw the same (or so I believe) item at BestBuy for $20.99. I'm just wondering if these would be the same items and why BestBuy would be higher? Normally a manufacturer won't undercut its suppliers.
Wait, what? Of course a retailer is going to mark up the price compared to the manufacturer. You're buying direct from one or through a middle-man as the other.

Also, there's up to 50% if you order online. See: Zagg.com / InvisibleShield Coupons worth 10-50% Off Sitewide - SlickDeals.net Forums

The fingerprints were driving me nuts Then I saw one of my cats step on the screen and I knew I had to get some sort of protector. Can't put one on myself because I bricked my first iPod Touch by using too much liquid to try to smooth it out I went to Best Buy and got a Zagg installed because it's the only one they offer. Yeah, it looks orange-peely when the screen is off, but so what? You can't even tell it's there when you're using the phone. And now I can't see any fingerprints I'm glad I did it.
