Everytime I set wallpaper it's blurry, please help! These are the streps I've taken:

Google Image > Copy URL > Upload URL image to my photobucket > Download image to my Droid Incredible (via photo bucket mobile) > Crop Image > set as wallpaper.

I even crop the photo on my phone and it doesn't fit my screen!

This is the photo I'm trying to upload:

I wish the photo was this clear on my phone!

Why not just download the image directly to your phone from wherever the source is? Long press on the image and you should have the option to save.

Also, if that's the actual resolution of the image it's pretty small for an Android wallpaper. Wallpapers for the Droid need to be 960x854, which I assume means for the incredible they need to be 960x800. Any smaller than that and the phone is going to be upscaling the image and stretching the pixels, making it blurry.

First make sure that the resolution is 960x800. Then get the app "Wallpaper Set and Save" from the Android Market. This will solve the problem.

I use the Windows program Paint.net to resize my pictures. It works like Photoshop, but is FREE.

I don't know much about photo editing, but the follow method works for me.

1. Make sure that the picture I select has a width larger then 960.
2. Make sure that the Height is as close to or larger then 800.
3. Click on Image.
4. click on Resize.
5. Make sure that the Maintain Aspect ratio box is checked.
6. Change the Height to 800.
7. Click OK.
8. Crop the width to 960 (Image->crop to selection)
9. Save under a different name.

Here, I'll try to illustrate why you're having problems ...

The photo is only 376x490 in size. Wallpaper for the Incredible needs to be 960x800. The only way to make this photo work is to stretch it out, which is why it's getting blurry and pixelated.

The image I've attached shows your pic set into the Incredible wallpaper size. You can use that, or decorate the black area with whatever you like. Just a starting point.
