how to email and open an android app from computer to phone

i have an app on my computer that i emailed to my phone. I cannot figure out how to install it.

I did download a file manager that allows me to copy apps to my sd card and then move the card from my computer to my incredible.

But everytime i send an email with an app, all the options i get is to preview the item, and it comes back with a parsing error each time.

I spent a few minutes searching through the forums but could not find an answer.

green you should be able to install it with androzip app. What I would do, is put a folder in your SD Card and call it apps. that way it is easier to navigate to it via andozip.

I dont have a problem opening apps that i have put on my sd card.

if i email a app to my phone, i open up gmail and can see the message and the attachment, but the only option to do anything to the attachment is to preview it, there is no download to storage option or to do anything other than preview it.

and if i preview it, it comes back with a parse error.

Try it by opening gmail on browser and not the gmail app. Make sure browser isnt set to open mobile sites also. Not sure if it will work but its worth a try.
