So, I have the moto droid, and I have it on cricket network, at first I had the partial flash, with only tlak and text, and it was unrooted. Well they finally came out with the full flash which now involves, pix msging and web, according to the flashing ppl, it needs to be rooted in order to obtain the full flash, so the ppl rooted it, and theres that wireless tether thing in there now, we have internet at home, I feel I dnt need it. My battery since then takes no longer than 6 hours to come down to 40%. I am using a 3rd party app to show the battry status, but its never too far behind the one the phone shows. I guess my questions are.....

is this normal for my battery to be drained since its now rooted?

Does tethering have anything to do with this battery issue?

Do I need to have this tethering thing in here in order for my phone to remain flashed?

I have a task killer, and it hasn't helped my battery much, is there something I'm missing when it somes to this app killer thing?

What are the chances the flashing ppl burned my battery in the process? Would buying a whole new battery solve my issues?

Thank you soooo much in advance for answering my questions, even if u can't answer all 813 of them. :)
