I'm watching the Live stream of this tablet now on YouTube, but I can't think the point of this product. I know it's Samsung and they have Billions of $$ to make all the tablets they want, but I really can't think of the point of this tablet or how it really fits into the market.
Recently Samsung had released the Galaxy Note, Tab Pro 8, 10.1 and 12.2 tablets. 2560 X 1600 resolution for the Note Pro 12.2. The screen on the newer tablet's are great and maybe Samsung has improved it's screen technology, but do they really need a whole new device to show off this technology? From watching the live stream, the only selling point they show or are talking about is the screen as if it's the only thing about a tablet.
I don't see a place in the market for this tablet and don't see a point. I'm not a Samsung hater or anything like that, not trying to be bias, but I just don't see a point for this device.
I think that they should have just held onto what they have here, and used it in conjunction with other innovations to all new versions of their devices. For example, I don't think that Tab S should exist. I think that they should have taken what they innovated and placed it into the next version of their Galaxy Note/Pro/Tab tablets. A whole new device that only markets itself for the screen? It's like the iPad retina all over again, and what happened to the Retina? Rite... It was taken off the shelves right after the iPad 4 because there was no place in the market for it.
What do you guys think? Am I just being bias, or do you agree with me? Let me know... Thanks.
I will be sticking to my Galaxy Note 10.1 2012 edition, with Android 4.1.2 for now. I have never seen a paint in upgrading my tablet because it does everything that I need it too. (Now I sound like an XP user.)
