Not sure if deleted would be the correct term in this instance.I was using the camera , I decided to check out the different Modes that you could use to take pics.I chose the "Best Photo" mode bcuz I was trying to catch an action shot. You hit the camera button and it snaps like 7 or 8 stills real quick.I ended up getting this fantastic pic of my son catching a ball.In the excitement of showing off the pic I forget to put a check in the timeline at the bottom of the screen to indicate I wanted to keep the photo.I lost the pic and cant find it anywhere.Anybody know where those unchose pics go?I am sick over it and have spent countless hours trying software for recovery and been trying to root my phone.Any help would be awesome Thx in advance.

For the S4 you have two locations for taken pictures to go. One is the phone's storage and the other is in the SD card storage. If you go to the file manager folder in the app gallery it will take you to the options of searching the phone's storage or SD card.
Start flipping through both the phone's storage and SD card storage. And the file that any pictures will be store in should be labeled with DCIM

He means "folder" named "DCIM," probably with a subfolder "Camera." I have one of these setups on both the System storage and External SD Card. Most pictures are on my SD card since I set it up that way some time ago.
