I've got one Gmail account setup with the Gmail app; in Accounts & Sync I've got Contacts and Gmail selected to sync... however, its currently 11:46 and according to what I'm seeing here the last sync was at 11:14.

I need a little better than every 30 minutes or so... anyone have any insight?

Interesting, I just started another thread with a similar issue. I was making some changes to my contacts on my phone as well as online in Google and they were not showing up in the other location. That seems to have improved a bit. Perhaps the system is having a hiccup today?

The email pushes automatically, but am unaware about the contacts. Perhaps they sync daily and/or whenever changes are made.

The e-mail, contacts, and calendar are all supposed to push and sync whenever there are changes on either side. When a change occurs on Google's end, e.g. with the Contacts or Calendar, it prompts a data exchange. When a change occurs on the phone, it is updated at the next scheduled sync, which takes place every 5 minutes or so . . . At least according to the guy at HTC, and we all know what that makes it worth.
