ZAGG Invisible Shield for EVO: Shipped

The exact dimensions have been out since March ;).

I see a lot of specs here: Sprint - HTC EVO? 4G

but no dimensions. Just knowing that the screen is 4.3" diagonal is not enough to make a precise screen protector -- the exact position of the speaker grill and the buttons, the exact width of the screen, the bezel size, etc. Where are those posted?

Yeah I ordered the Ultra-Clear and it was on backorder. Not every protector was on backorder though, I know the Anti-Glare was in stock. This would actually be my first Clarivue product but I've read various reviews about them and they seem legit (and affordable) so I went ahead and ordered.

I honestly can't tell you, I've never tried Zagg and this would be my first time using Clarivue. It depends on what you're looking for and everyone has different preferences. In my case I was looking for a screen protector that was so clear you could barely tell if at all that there was one on. I'll deal with the fingerprints.

For those of you that may not like the zagg, I would suggest a phantom skinz. I went from zagg to phantom skinz and I love it. Much clearer and not as tacky feeling. It also doesn't seem to yellow over time like the zagg. Cheaper too and they give you two of whatever you order.

This is just my personal opinion and own experiences.

So which one is better? I had Zagg on the Pre for all of 2 minutes and the fitment SUCKED so I threw it out. I don't wanna do that again with my EVO.

I've also never tried other protectors, but I can say the privacy protector that I currently have on my 8900 looks good and is scratch resistant. The fingerprint residue are not that bad either. And fitment is always dead on.

Speaking of screen protection, are any of you guys worried about the lens for the camera on the EVO? It appears that it protrudes a bit from the back of the phone and I am worried that it could collect scratches pretty easily. Is there an easy solution to this, or are my fears unfounded?

It seems like it would be a good idea to have a small piece of a screen protector to cover the fantastic camera on this phone as it is a major feature.

If it's like the HD2, there is a little lip around the lens that protrudes just enough to protect the lens a little bit. Not saying it couldn't get scratched up, just that if you set the camera down, it's not sitting on the lens.
