You have to remember any issue is going to look overblown here because people will complain over praise.

Most people aren't experiencing those problems. Do you think people with 0 problems are going to take the time to post that? Mostly the people that are experiencing issues post.

Sorry you had trouble. I love mine. Call quality has been supurb, and after a little tweaking the battery has been fine, and personally i love the OLED screen.

Just get it, and try it out. You have 30 days to return it (thru Verizon). Just make sure they don't charge you the $350 ETF if you return it after 2 weeks.

The only problem I have with the DI is the problem with wifi mail. Pretty much the absolutely only problem I have with it. I love this phone.

As stated, people come on here much more often to complain or search for answers than they do to simply state "in case anyone was wondering, completely happy with this phone". I'm new to Android, so I'm on here to learn how to use the system. However, someone who is completely happy and capable with their phone probably is less likely to be outspoken on this site. It's the same with any technologically-based forum on the internet. Look up a forum regarding your specific computer... I'm sure there will be many many more complains than praises.

Look at the praise it gets on Verizons site. People are not going to search for a forum, register, and post just to say the phones flawless. They already have a log in at VZW though.

I see a common theme here.

Trolls come in, create user accounts, post meaningless threads and then create new accounts and start over.

I'm sure if the admin's check the ip addresses of a few of the sub 30 post count trolls, you might find that 3/4 of the ignorant postings are coming from the same few people.

Same here Love this phone, battery life was not great I got the seidio 1750 battery and yes I have seen the reports stating lower mah. There report is total bs for me, the battery made a big difference on my phone. Maybe the ones they tested were a bad batch who knows?

I am very happy I got the dinc.

sorry to sound dumb, but the wifi mail, not sure what you mean.

i disconnect from the mobile network at home and use wifi and am able to receive my emails just fine with gmail app and mail app for another account.


and i am coming from a moto droid and like this way more.

Yea, the only thing I would complain about is battery life. I'm always charging throughout the day. This Saturday will be my first all day test. I tend to be a drunk dialer/texter. I have a monoprice charger coming in this week, i might resort to using it.

all of the problems i have experienced have been due to user error. which means that i need to read the manual i downloaded further.

Of those issues, the only one I would have complained about is the battery. However, as time has gone on, it seems remarkably better with no difference in my phone usage. The first few days I had it, after leaving work, I had about 20% battery life. Now I have around 50%.

I'm getting about the same battery usage as I was out of my BlackBerry Storm.

It's called the 'vocal minority.' That's why sports radio, or a lot of talk radio for that matter, is often negative. The people who are upset about something are the most likely to call up and voice their opinion.

Outside of the battery not lasting as long as I would prefer I haven't experienced any of these issues. Then again, I could always reactivate my razr and not have to worry about charging it but once a week

Overall, I am glad I got this device and am very impressed with it. Its my first experience with a HTC phone and Andriod and thumbs up on each. I powered on my Storm yesterday and wow it is night and day from the Incredible.
