Where do I begin?

Just started learning about androids, and want some fundamental info to start learning more. Basically, I'm an at&T customer, and I want to know if I can buy a used droid - root it - and use it on at&t. Anyone have any suggestions as to where I should start? I'm new to forums as well, so any suggestions would be welcome.

Unfortunately no. AT&T is GSM and Droid is CDMA, not sure if you could buy a Milestone though, which is pretty much the Droid I believe.

As far as having an AT&T android OS, there are a few apps I might suggest.
