What Ever Happened To The Update We Were Supposed To Get??

It is slated to come 5/6/10 and only to those who use exchange for corporate email.
This. The only confirmed fix I am aware of is for a bug in the HTC email client that would sometimes cause emails to go to random contacts when doing a "reply all".

Also, even if there is an OTA out there, your phone will always show "up to date" unless it's been pinged for an update and you didn't do it when you got the popup. They usually do this in groups.

If you use Exchange/ActiveSync, then it's for you. From what I heard, the $45 vs. $30 plan only matters for Blackberry users, though they can apply it to any account regardless of phone.

No, I was told if I wanted exchange on my Android I needed the $45 plan. I told them I didn't want exchange and to put me on the $30 plan, then I added my exchange account anyway. :D

Yeah, I know. I was saying that apparently only Blackberry users have the mandatory $45 plan in order to use ActiveSync (or maybe it was for those who wanted multiple Exchange accounts). Either way, specifically not Android/WinMo users...

Guys I just got an OTA update annoucement on my phone about 20 minutes ago. I was in the middle of something on the phone so I backed out of it when it popped up and was able to get back to it by menu>settings>about phone>system updates.

I don't remember all the software versions, but the two that stick out to me are

Fireware Version:
2.1-update1

Software Number:
1.22.605.2

EDIT: I should have included I am on the 29.99 data plan as well. There was a new thread created for this but I just wanted to keep things clear here as well.
I searched and this was the most recent thread about an update. I do recall I think Anon talking about something like this a few days ago but I never followed up to see if he had gotten more info.
