Stolen Eris from Verizon

OK, so i received my replacement eris in the mail today from verizon and did the OTA activation..stopped in the middle and took me to verizon rep, who immediately demanded my name, phone number and password. I give her all the information and she asks where i got the phone, i tell her that verizon sent it to me and that i am trying to activate it on my line. She informs me that there is no way they sent me the phone im trying to activate as its a STOLEN PHONE!!!! After having me read the ESN off of the phone, and the testers box they sent me, i proved them wrong. They are going to overnight me a eris replacement again and now i have to send back a phone that was reported stolen....Gotta love verizon wireless.

Honestly, I would be a whiny bitch and demand extra stuff. I don't care if I'm not entitled to it. If someone accuses you of something and then ends up looking like a dumbass, you rub their face in the fresh pile of shit they've just laid down.

Overnight the phone? They're supposed to do that. Better talk to a supervisor to make sure someone else doesn't deal with this crap. VZW marked a phone as stolen, took it in, "fixed" whatever was originally wrong with it, and then sent it to you. Then tried to bone you.

Make em pay, I say.

First thing you must do is realize you are dealing with Verizon! the Second is prove that anything you said actually took Place.

If you actually were trying to get something other then say one free month of service, I can Assure you with 100% certainty. Verizon will deny anything you said ever happened. there will be no record of your call, the person or persons you spoke to will not exist. they will say you contacted them about an activation problem or something similar and that is why they gave you their infamous "As a one time customer service courtesy" offer to send you another Phone.

Bottom line, Ask for something that costs them nothing, be happy if you get it and always remember, life is to short to have to deal with "Qwaneesha" at verizon!

P.S. - I am not calling you a liar. I am only informing you that verizon will be calling you one, In their oh so sweet way of doing things.
