Well, go the update in the middle of the night and now have a SLIGHT problem. I use the phone as an alarm and this morning it would not shut off. I have the side buttons set to disarm the alarm and nothing. I had to turn the phone completely off and then re-boot to get the damn alarm to shut up.

Now I can't get "what do tigers dream of when they take a little tiger snooze" outta my head (ringtone from Hangover lol).

Any ideas?

LOL, battery pull worked thank god. Now I get the screen asking for snooze or dismiss again. Thanks.

The song is awesome for a ringtone. Fades in just at the "what do tigers dream of" portion so it is low volume then slowly gets louder and is not obnoxious. PM me if you want me to send it to you.

This damn update made my alarm not sound, so I woke up late. so dumb.

After the update was the first time my alarm has gone off. I was going to post to see if anyone else had issues but it seems to be fixed now.

Sorry if there is an obvious answer to this question, but how do you set a MP3 from your phone to be used for an alarm. In the alarm settings, when I try to choose the alarm sound, I can only choose from "beeps, classic, snooze" etc. I can't figure out how to pick a MP3 stored on my phone.

I would like to know this too...

On a slightly different note, but somewhat related:

My phone alarm went off this morning and I snoozed it. I woke up before the alarm went back off and saw I had the update. I installed it and the phone reboots. A couple of minutes later the snooze still went off. I was very impressed that my phone still remembered it had been snoozed even despite a reboot. Very impressive IMHO. LOL

Ok, this is what finally worked for me:

I created the folder called "alarms" on my SD card and put the MP3 files that I want to use for alarms there, and not on my phone storage. This allowed me to choose any MP3 file from that folder when I choose the alarm sound.:)

Yup, I have a file on my sd card for pictures, ringtones, and wallpaper that were there when I moved my card over from my bb Tour. When I go to set notifications it asks where and I go to the music files and they are all listed there.

There is a wallpaper thread, should we start a ringtone thread?????

This didn't work for me, I made a folder on my sd card named alarms and moved a few mp3s into it and nothing. it works fine for mt fingtones tho.

That's odd. Is the alarms folder that you created right at the top of the directory on your SD card? I'm not sure if that is really the right way to say it - I mean is the folder inside another folder, or is it a top level folder on the card?
