Samsung t949 supersonic!!!

i just got a confirmation from Samsung rep (i work for t-mobile) u know how we saw t949 on FCC site??? well guess what!!! they are coming out with 2 different version!! one with the keyboard (galaxy s pro) and w/o keyboard (galaxy s) and it's going to be called Samsung t949 (supersonic) i am very excited about this!! we finally got some confirmation he said it will be out in July or August (we hope) (it's actually T959.... now samsung rep got mixed up)

sorry guys i guess samsung rep lied to me!!! it's actually t959 he said he got it mixed up and he did say sorry.... so i guess the rumor was right!!! t949 = jet, t959 = galaxy s / supersonic

he didn't mention anything about the price yet... i think they are in like one of those final stage (i did get a little hint from them though) they are trying to put it around $450.... so i'm assuming anywhere from $450~$500 (i hope) because it's pretty darn good price (half of what we thought it would be) but it's not confirmed 100% yet but they are working on it

i believe u have sprint... right?? so i'm not too sure about sprint's upcoming galaxy s but this supersonic is for t-mobile only right now but this has been confirmed by samsung rep

Oh Man this is GREAT NEWS!!

I was about ready to jump ship from T-Mobile cause I thought only AT&T was confirmed to get the Galaxy S!!

So that means they will have to release it with the 1700/2100MHz bands for 3G use on T-Mobile, right?

i'm assuming yes??? i just can't wait until these phones comes out!! i was hoping that samsung rep had like a prototype or something (i'm pretty sure he does) but he told me he didn't if i get more updates on it i'll post it here again

isnt the sgh-t949 the samsung jet?
and it does not have a 4inch screen... it only has 3.1 inch screen..

the galaxy s could be the sgh-T959..

who knows.. cant wait to get my hands on this super phone.. the galaxy s that is.. =)

that's what i thought too because i saw last year at tmonews.com about t949 jet but i think they changed their mind or something because i asked the samsung rep and he said that's just a rumor so..... we'll see what's really going to happen with this t949 soon (we'll find out if he was lying to me or not.... if he did... i'm gonna whoop some ass!!!)
