Weather app won't auto update & generally slow.

Just had my new Desire (old one was faulty) & the weather app will not update. I've ticked the Update automatically button, in the weather settings, but when I go back to it, the settings default to not being ticked?? I didn't have this problem before. Any help?

Also this new Desire seems very slow & sluggish, compared to my last one.

Have you got background data on and auto sync on? If not it won't auto update.

That probably explains why it gave me the weather in London at 9:30pm as bright sunshine when it was in fact dark outside!
