I agree that I think overall it's getting fairly high marks. I personally like the UI but don't care for the phone that much only because I'm not used to a larger, heavier phone. If you're used to carrying around a Sidekick or something of that nature then you will be very happy.
I love the touch screen and like the trackball but it's too big a heavy for my tastes.

The UI has it's issues, not real buggy though, I think most of the issue are missing functions that people are used to with smartphones. The beauty of Android though is that they will most likely be pumping out firmware updates regularly to keep pace with the other smartphones. Also, third party apps will be plentiful.

Touchscreen = bigger phone.
Smartphone = bigger phone.
Full physical keyboard = bigger phone.

You can't have a tiny, lightweight, touchscreen smartphone.

I gues you haven't seen the Touch Pro huh? Yeah, it's not a lightweight but it is overall smaller.

I could live without the slide out QWERTY if they had a landscape onscreen keyboard but I am getting used to it.

Can't... or can't yet?
:p

I had the Wing, and that screen was way too small for being a touchscreen. There's a certain point where being small becomes too small to be useful. The touchflo is similar specs, so I would find that hard to use as well.

I'm sure some people can do surf the web, call their friends, type an SMS, and listen to music on a touchscreen the size of a postage stamp, but I'm not one of them.

Agreed. I don't expect smartphones to be small. Hell, I hate some of the smaller phones because they're too small to even hold for a call. Some make me feel like I have a Zoolander phone (that's one of the only Ben Stiller movies that I can stand).
