Help Touch sensitive buttons do not light up sometimes

This seems to be an issue that I may have just noticed. Sometimes when I turn on my phone the touch sensitive buttons do not light up. They may eventually light up but it would take a while. Also sometimes they light up immediately with no problem. Is anyone else having this same issue?

Depending on your lighting conditions, they wont turn on.

I thought about that but i am in low light. Could it be a sensor issue?

Are you saying they're not on in low light? They should come on in low light and off in bright.

Put your hand over the sensor when you turn the phone on.

The backlights did turn on when i covered the sensors while turning on the phone. I am indoors and the backlight will sometimes not turn on. Weird.

did you hit your phone?
I was playing wii and hit it a little bit with the remote. Now I notice the same thing.
Even in good lighting they would come up sometimes and sometimes they will not.

Power cycle the phone (turn it off and then back on)

Oh jeeze comon, the lights are automatic, they come on only in the lowest of lighting conditions. Any other time they stay off, because the phone figures you can see the buttons. It may look like they are cycling on and off because your finger is covering the sensor while holding the phone.
