I was just wondering what ROM everyone uses. I have seen many threads asking what ROM people suggest and thought this would be a good way for people to decide.
In your post say
ROM:
Kernel:
Theme:
Other:

ROM: Nexbest v1
Kernel: Bekit 1 ghz
Theme: Nextheme
Other:gde with hero theme

ROM: the ESE81 Pete released
Kernel: P3Droid 800MHz
Theme: Stock.
Other: Clockwork Mod recovery

My phone is running extremely well with this combination. I don't see a need to move to BB 1.0.

I removed a few apps (Amazon MP3, Corporate Calendar, email, etc.) and the camera shutter sound.

No themes... I prefer the look of stock Android over any of the themes.

I see a lot of Bugless Beast users. I just started using custom ROMs a couple of days ago. The only one I've used is CyanogenMod. What are the differences between that and Bugless Beast?

CyanogenMod is unique from all of the other ROMs in that it's built directly from the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). That means whenever anything gets added to the Android OS in general, Cyanogen has access to it for his next ROM release. The other ROMs are modifications of the official Droid ROM, so their base is what came with the Droid instead of all of Android OS in general.

Bugless Beast 1.0 seems to be more stable and quicker than CyanogenMod, but I can't leave all the features I've become accustomed to. You can try it out if you want to through ROM Manager (I'm not sure where else you'd get the ROM now that AllDroid is gone).

I really wanted to like BB 1.0 but I had just too many issues (battery life, fc's, too many reboots, etc). For me, on CM I get just as much speed, more options for themes and kernels and no problems. Whatever your phone likes best is your best option. With rom manager it's plenty easy to try them all in a day.

Haha! As of this post...#1 is BB, #2 is NexBeast, and #3 is Cyanogen...UD has only one lone ranger! Haha! Droid mod has 0! :D

Gotta say that the top three match up with my top 3 (not the same order...but all three are there). Pretty impressive that Fab's ROM is #2 overall...rock on! I'm sporting that myself...it's tops in my book!
