Root CoPilot Live v8 on GALAXO 1.6.3.1?

I got it working on Galaxo 1.6.3.1 but have some real performance issues. Memory seems to be so short that i get frequent messages from other prozesses that stoped working. Playing mp3 at the same time is not possible at all. OC is at 710mhz, not many background programms installed.
Do you have the same Problems? Any suggestions?

I repeat this isnt a warez site nor an advisory for warez sites.
please dont discuss cracks or warez here

It is appropriate, though, to wonder how long it will take until the hardware on the galaxy becomes insufficient to run serious android apps, like GPS software. Many of the newer software are reported to take a lot of memory, and generally work slow on "older" devices. I hate apple but a 3 year old iphone seems less outdated than a 1 year old, still selling, android machine.

I did notice a difference in performance between a GPS program
(I think it was Copilot, but maybe it was iGO) installed on 1.6 vs
1.5 firmware.

1.6 was slower. Perhaps they broke 3D support in 1.6 or something?

At the moment I'm running 1.5 IL3 and using CoPilot Live 8.0.0.328.

Map data for Croatia was downloaded from the program over WiFi.

CoPilot doesn't have voice navigation in Croatian which IGO has, but
in all other respects I like it more.

I have I7500ZHIL3. I won't claim it's the best 1.5 firmware
or anything. I'm on this one because I needed to get away from
1.6 no-sleep and this is the first one I grabbed. It's stable, fairly
quick and battery life is solid. 3D support is broken in this one.

Using GPS drains the battery quickly on any firmware however,
don't expect to get more than a couple of hours of intensive
GPS use. I mostly use GPS in car where it can charge simultaneously.
