Unlocking

Guys.

My Desire will be locked to T-Mobile when i get it tomorrow and i want to simunlock it so i can use my o2 chip.

I plan on using htcsimunlock.com

I was going to use htccode.com but reading the forums it seems members are paying the money only to be told to pay more. Sounds like a scam to me.

has anyone used htcsimunlock or can recommend a site to do the unlock

why don't u try T-mobile themselves? I got a locked Nokia X6 for my wife from Virgin Mobile and I asked them to get the phone unlocked and they did so for 15 pounds.

So long as you can prove you were given/bought it legitimately, then shouldnt have any issues.

Well i bought the phone off ebay. It was an unwanted upgrade will this still work?

Should be OK. They may ask for proof, or confirm who you bought from. So long as it matches the acct holder, shouldnt have any issues.

you can unlock it yourself with a free tool that doesnt require root
