My mail cal and contacts sync via my Google account. One of my Google calendars On phone only partially sync. I go to the cal on internet to verify the missing events. From inside the cal app and phone settings I run the refresh.

Am I forgetting something in the phone settings?

Thanks

If you go down into the settings where the syncing is, make sure you select 'all' for the amount of time to look ahead in the calendar. I think the default is 2 weeks.

Thank you...I double checked the entire manual and the phone itself. If I understand your recommendation I should find a sync range setting as follows:

From the home screen, select Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync
[I clicked "Sync All" just for drill - I think all in this case means all accounts, not "all of the range"]
Under Manage Accounts, I click on "Google Accounts"
At this point, my only option is to turn sync on/off for Calendar and there are no 'Menu' commands.

More diagnostic info: One of my calendars syncs for the entire 4 month range that is in GCal on the desktop computer. On the 2nd calendar with the incomplete sync, even recurring events that are every week in GCal and have shown up before are not in the calendar. But an odd event or two that I just input into GCal (Calendar 2) are syncing into the phone.

Thanks much

Ok. But I didnt find a sync range setting in the menu moves I described in the prior post. I vaguely remember such a setting in the initial set up out of the box I think.

The puzling part is cal 1 is fully populated for 4 months and cal 2 has a combo of near and further out events. Thx

Uo can setup your google acount in 2 ways. 1 is through the actual google account, the other way is to set it up as an exchange account. What I do is go to the HTC Mail client and setup my google account as a exchange account (the server is m.google.com). After that, I stop syncing my google acount and use the exchange account to manage it.

You are probably looking at the google account while I am looking at the exchange account.

dgourd: Yeah I tried to exchange activesync and now i have a duplicate set of the same situation. Plus activesync doesn;t follow the calendar colors that are in the real GCal.

All: I can only guess, but not be sure, that this is another beta-related thing with google. One of the problems is half of what google does is hobbies that are in beta for a long time; and multi-app standards are not enforced at google (e.g. Gmail search doesn;t work the same as Web search)

The frustrating part is that I don't know if it's one of the google idosyncrasies or a setting that I'm overlooking. So I keep using posit-it notes for appts just in case :)

I've got half a dozen google calendars syncing with my phone. I'm a new Droid user (Droid 3) coming over from a Palm Pre Plus. I've never had a partial sync before. Some events from my google calendars come across and some do not. All are there in the web version. No calendar app I've tried is syncing this correctly, and it is some events, but not all, from any calendar, not that some calendars don't sync.
