anyone grab the Wiimote tether app yet?

Just used it on my lunch break... used astro to install, and then just synched it up like any normal bt device. Very easy, worked perfectly. No root required! The only part that held me up was I didn't realize is have to map the keys... but that was simple to do. Anyone wanting a real remote for their emulation should check out this app.

Also another question. Is it not hard...or annoying to play with the Nexus lying on the desk? I mean, I feel that it's only feasible if you have a dock or some kind of stand to use the controller ergonomically. I can't imagine you holding the Nexus in one hand and while you play with the controller in the other hand...is that even possible?

Droid looks like crap compared to N1 so not really an option.

All of the phones out right now look like crap compare to the N1 ;) lol

Desire = wannabe N1 ;) (no one can argue with me on this!)
Incredibe = wannabe N1 ...>_> with better screen (mytouch) and higher MP (8) ..OK...so it's not a wannabe like the Desire...it still is not as gorgeous as Nexus!
X10 = too big, bulky and feels plasticky and 1.6 (ewwww)

I'm sure a n1 sandwiched to a wiimote with some plastic glued to it will look MUCH better. Did you seriously choose the nexus over the Droid based on looks?

Functionality + Looks FTW!!! ...PLUS First to be updated = TOUCH DOWN!

Though I do think it's silly trying to attach the wiimote to the N1...why not just go and get a Nintendo DS then

gonna hazzard a guess that he doesnt mean permanently attacth it to his nexus, but just to clip it on whilst playing at home or something.

lol, yes I would think so too...else I'd call jojitsu a baka otherwise. :p It's an interesting idea but still defies having a compact cellphone. But if he/she is happy...to his/her own :) lol

Haha, come on people, I would not mess up my phone with glue and bits of plastic!.. But I have done what I said.. Only a 5 minute botch job, but it works perfectly for my needs: I have glued a piece of plastic to the top edge of the wiimote, with velcro on it, and I have stuck a couple of bits of velcro to my silicone phone case... Now all I do is put my phone in the phone case and velcro attach it to the controller.. Simple :)

Sorry for the crappy pictures, but hey, it's only a 2 minute knock up that does the job for me..

lol, I'd sooo think you're the biggest nerd in the world if I see you on my train :p lol Although...it's a great coversation opener ;), 'OMG...did you just glue your phone to a wii remote?' :D And it doesn't look half as bad as I had imagined between.
