first of all... i don't see how this could charge the phone since the usb port is on the left side and this is docked from the bottom.

first of all... i don't see how this could charge the phone since the usb port is on the left side and this is docked from the bottom.

Note wording of add. They provide a sync cable. So I think they are just saying the stand will hold the phone and the provided cable will allow it to charge/sync. So all the stand does with respect to phone is hold it. The battery charger is nice though. However, note how the phone is held by the brackets at the lower end. Not sure this will leave micro-USB port open for cable. I'll bet this is a N1 item that the retailer is assuming will work with Inc. I'd hold off and let someone else do the testing
