I just got my invite from a friend for Google Voice and I'm just wondering how people are using it? I have had the app on my DINC since it arrived 9 days ago and now I'm setting it up.

Specifically...

1. Do you make all your calls using through Google Voice number? Some of your calls or none? Do you call into your number or on your pc/laptop? Does this save you minutes or are you still burning through minutes just all to one #?

2. How did you pick your number? name, favorite area code, location, etc?

3. Do you have your voicemail all forwarded to your google voice account? If so does this mean I can remove my Phone Fusion VM service to rock the Google Voice setup?

1. Yes. I use my GV # for everything now. Much simpler that way. Not sure what you mean by "call into your number", but I only use my PC for texting from work. Can't comment on the minutes issue...I don't spend much time on the phone so this hasn't been a problem for me.
2. Area code.
3. Yes. Yes.
