Nova Prime, though Apex is similar enough that I could easily use that instead.

It does what I want reliably and with no fuss, with flexibility where I need it without a huge learning curve or visual clutter, and without the ads, spam or privacy concerns of some launchers I won't name.

I used to use Apex Launcher ages ago, before I discovered Nova. I agree that it's also a good alternative.

For some reason I checked to see when Apex was last updated, and it has been ages, so I stuck with Nova. But like you, I used Apex for the longest time before switching to Nova primarily.

Nova and Arrow Launcher. MS really have something going with Arrow and it might just become the best productive launcher but when you want to customize your homescreen to the fullest then you can never go wrong with Nova.

Others:
Launcher Lab - best DIY launcher
Z Launcher - pure simplicity but very functional

I gave Arrow a try for like a day, and it just didn't stick with me.

Same with me. I tried it a couple of times on its early build and just didn't like it but I was coming from a heavily themed setup those times. It just this February where I really become fond of the launcher. It took me 3 or 4 days to get used to it and for the launcher to know my habits and it became a smooth experiece. Its not really customizable aside from icon packs but it looks fairly unique compared to other typical launchers so I'm really okay with it.

I just put the widget page that's either blank or have some good zooper widget clock on the middle then the recent files and apps on the left side and the contact and notes on the right side and it just a really great experience. Of course I still switch back to Nova from time to time to freshen things up.

Maybe I'll give it another shot, and use it for more than just a day.
