Root Benefits of rooting the Desire??

Hi,

I'm new to the Android scene and was wondering what pro's (and con's if any) people are experiencing after rooting on the Desire (apps to sd being a good one). Looking through the forums I've noticed a lot of people experiencing data switching/connection problems, does the new radio file help with this?

I know there is a few posts in other forums, just wanted to be device specific,

Thanks very much but i did post first with no responses but loads of views, doesn't look like people want to be friendly to newbies here, I also posted in the thread you linked to.

no problemo, im a newbie but minus a desire but we have to start somewhere right
