Root Is there any point in using native 2.1 if I'm using Calukin's DD10?

i have live wallpapers
i have seven home screens



why am I supposed to be losing my mind about official 2.1 again?

If you're happy with your current set up, then kudos. Really, unless you care about a build number, I'm sure you'll be just fine. I'll probably load SDX's kernel on my phone at some point as well, but this build seems to work really well so far. I just wish they (Sprint) would let us get rid of the crapplications that we don't use.

It is usually a good idea to build of the newest form. Most of the stuff will carry over but battery seems to be alot better so far with DE03. All themes andd stuff are being converted over as well so.

Just d/l Root Explorer and take out the bloatware SDX has determined safe to remove.

I took some stuff out but was pretty conservative.

The new version has MUCH improved battery life. That alone is worth it, plus its smoother and faster in my opinion.

I'm sure it will be. Calukin's DD10 was awesome but I only used it for a couple of days but I really liked it a lot.
