this is the quote of the year and should be in everyone's signature line! I cant agree more!
Actually I think this one takes the cake. lol
IT IS NOT A COMPLETE SMARTPHONE UNLESS THE USER IS SOMEWAT SMART!!.. the phone cant do everything. but is a great device..
there is an unofficial rule that states "never buy the first generation product of a line.' and it never fails. This being the first CDMA android from Sprint which doesn't have the true CDMA 1.6 software but a quasi embedded CDMA 1.5 and some expect it to be fool proof from the get go. Lets not kid ourselves. Some of us, including myself, know there would be issues but just couldn't wait to get the phone. Most of these issues can be fixed, others not yet. Then again, that I know of, there hasn't been a phone ever that did not have some sort issue. Be it hardware, software etc. None, and that includes the iPhone. (Now, excuse me while I wash my hands for typing that name).
Ok, I'm back.
I do not think its a matter of complainer or non-complainer. Fool or foolish to buy a 1st gen product, regardless the phone is in your hands. No one forced anyone to get this phone. That was a decision you the owner made yourself. If it works to your expectation. Rock on, if it doesn't and none of the quick fixes work, then maybe its defective and its best to return it for a replacement.
I have this feeling that if we start posting the manufacturing date of the phones that have issues, I'm willing to bet that one will see that the units after a certain date do not have alot of the issues we are reading about. This phone in my opinion was rushed out the door by Sprint. Regardless, overall, in my opinion, its a great phone. Does ten times more and better than my previous did.
TS out (washing my hands again)
