Help 2.1 live wallpapers?

so i recently upated to the official 2.1 and want to install live wallpapers...i followed the instructions above and when i go to flash the recoverr .tar fil i keep getting a "cannot open bin file" message when i go to start the update...any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you already have the official 2.1 you don't need to flash any tar for livewallpapers.

Live Wallpaper for 2.1 (WORKING!), 3D N1 Drawer (Working with some issues.)

Try it and we'll go from there.

From the link:

- Download this zip file and place it in the root of your SD card (drag it to the card).
- Power off your phone.
- Boot into recovery mode (press volume down + call + power).
- Apply the zip from the SD card using that recovery mode menu option.
- Reboot. You're done!

Also, here are a couple of live wallpapers to try. Many others are on the market - most for free.

Ok, so you don't need root, but you do need this recovery thing installed.

Is there an updated and concise set of instructions on that, rather than following multiple links to the latest, which includes several pages of discussion? I'm very wary of screwing up my phone by doing the wrong thing.

This would be fine for the ones that want to get rid of all those things but I don't think every1 wants to or @ least I don't..(not all of them)..

I guess I really don't need live wallpapers that bad...
