The version below is the Signed RUU, flashing this version can cause you to lose your root access..

USER AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Rooted users, if you flash this. You will lose your root!
I suggest you wait for a dev and non-dev to come out with your fav ROM....

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The version below you can flash on your phone so you won't lose your Root..

Alright, so this has basically no optimizations or anything. Feel free to use this for whatever. I will have an update tonight for DamageControl based off of this new RUU that was leaked.

Because I just flashed this myself, it is largely untested, so I take no responsibility for what this breaks/doesn't have/whatever. This is for those who can't wait but don't want to flash RUU because it will break root and you might not be able to get it back.

I was going to do it, but I decided to just stick with original leaked version I've been running for some time now. If the final is truly going to come out at the end of next week I don't want to deal with the hassle of setting up all the stuff on my phone again. There are plenty of bugs in the original leaked version I come across, but nothing too horrible.

Help me out here guys --- some say this RUU is ROOTED. Some say it destroys your ROOTing. OK, I am confused.

If it is rooted, it does not matter what is on your phone when you install it, right? You will have the new op sys and it will be rooted. You can then flash recovery RA-1.6.2. to reinstall it for backups, etc.

Right? Wrong? What am I missing here --- Thanks !!!! :D

Ok, now it's starting to make more sense. If it is not rooted, then you would have to root it as with stock version 1.5....? Or is that not possible, I wonder, due to some changes that have been made to the non-rooted version?

Just thinking out loud here ---- and if indeed the final 2.1 Sprint release is not rooted, where does that leave us? Waiting for a hacked ROM??

Thanks !!! ;)
