HTC Evo's SIZE!!!! OMG!!!!

I just realized just how super huge the EVO will be. I went into a Tmobile store and asked the sales rep to see this phone called the HTC HD2, but I didn't realize that it was a tablet like the Ipad, except you can place and receive calls on it, and multitask. That thing was huuuuuge. I don't have small hands, but that was the biggest phone that I have ever seen. It made me jealous as a man, and made me envious, and I'm scared to have something this big around my wife.....she may not look at me as a man anymore. And get this, the EVO is actually 2 mm thicker AND WIDER than the Tablet/Phone known as the HD2. Wowsers!

It is not all that big actually. If you compare it to a blackberry it is like 1/2 of an inch taller. That is it. it is just all screen.

I played with the HD2 as well & I had no problem with one hand operations. In fact I thought the device would be bigger.

I felt like it's about the size of an iPhone with a plastic case on it...a little larger and a little thicker but almost all screen. I think I can handle that just fine. If not I will sell it and buy whatever the next thing is with similar specs and a slightly smaller screen. No biggie.

i saw a comparison of the evo with an iphone and really its not thaaat much bigger...i feel that the larger screen is making people think that it is bigger than it really is...either way this phone wont be getting returned by me unless there is a huuuge issue

Your Deff in the wrong Forum...Pretty Much states EVO 4G! And I doubt they'll be any returns because of the size! Maybe if it doesnt live up to the HYPE, but the size, nope I highly doubted... Sickkkk Device!

hahahaha...Hilarious descriptions on the size. I thought the EVO was slightly less wide than the HD2, but also slightly thicker/taller.

lol, NO he's not kidding! I own the iphone 3Gs, and I used an Unlocked HD2 for about 4 months. Yea it's bigger, but not by the standards people are stating in this thread. Phone was absolutly awesome! The HD2's down side was Windows, but sense hid alot of the window 6.0 crap. And the EVO will deliver our beloved Android OS. Size wise it's Fine, it's the reason why people will buy it, because of the beautiful large screen. Trust me, if u like surfing the web, youtube, etc, as well as just being able to type real easily, your going to love this thing and the screen. And if it really happens to be to large for you, check the incredible out...
