Engadget's Full Review of Moto Droid

Man they kinda bashed this device near the end. I think it was a bit biased myself but I am still getting mine regardless of what they say. Everything they griped about was software based so there shouldnt be a problem finding fixes for the camera and there are apps for the on screen keyboard and music player. That should fix the only problems. Everything else is golden. And if anybody is dying for more home screens install an app but I think three is good enough for me.

Everything else I read said it does support multi-touch.

This was a good review.. it was very positive for the most part I thought. And as was mentioned... any problems which might be there... that's what software updates are for. My G1 is a better phone today than it was the day I bought it, I'm sure this one wont be any different.

They make the keyboard sound useless, which makes me kind of not want the phone. Maybe the X10 is more suited to me, i don't want a next to useless keyboard no matter how thin the phone is. I dunno though. I wish they made the phone a bit thicker and improved the keyboard :S

But we'll see. I haven't finished reading the review yet.

If you are worried about the keyboard, don't let a review spoil it for you. Try it yourself.

I will say that I am not a huge fan of the keyboard, but I am coming from a blackberry - the one company to have keyboards right. The problem is it is easier to create a money keyboard on a non sliding phone. Sliders are always going to be not as good.

I have played with the keyboard and at first, I thought it was horrid, but after a few minutes, I was typing well. Is the best? no. Is it good once you get used to it? You bet ya.
