Hi everyone
I need some help. I'm upgrading my omnia hd(i8910) and im having some trouble choosing a new phone. Well as you can see I already decided on a android phone' the main reason I'm replacing my omnia hd is the terrible Symbian OS , the phone crashes all the time and you can wait hours for gallery and video to work. The new phone needs to not have any of those issues.
My main uses of a phone are:
- Shooting quality stills and video
- Watching video (I'm traveling a lot an always used my omnia hd for viewing tv shows and movies.)
- listing to music (I don’t care about the loudspeaker only for the headphone quality)
- Smote and cool user intricate.
To tell you the truths if you look at Specifications the NOKIA N8 is the perfect thing for me' buy the Symbian on the omnia hd was so bad that I find it hard to come back to it. And android seems to be the best thing there is today.

Since I want the phone to be able to use Hebrew I need on that will be rooted fast even when updates will come out

That’s it I think please help me chose between the them :D thank you.

Well in terms of camera the X10 wins and it will be getting a update later this year for HD video recording.

For watching films it would be between the Samsung and the Sony they both have a 4" screen, The Samsung apparently has a better screen and I say "apparently" because I reserve judgement until I've seen it for myself.

In terms of user interface the desire and Samsung have the edge at the moment.

Sound quality through the headphones is good in both the desire and X10, the samsungis not out yet but its probably just as good.

Galaxy S for sure.

The music player is great
The video player is great
The pictures and video captures with this phone are great (though a flash would be nice)
The UI is simple and easy to use
The screen is 2nd to none (thanks to super AMOLED)

I just posted a thread that has a very detailed review of this phone and it compares it to the Desire some as well and its clearly superior.

I would get this phone if it had a physical keyboard

As a current owner of both the X10 and Desire I'd recommend the Desire without blinking, unless the camera was of uber-importance.

I'll have a Galaxy S very soon after release (probably within the next two weeks), so I'll even be able to give you a run down on that one Vs the X10 and Desire reasonably soon.

There is some debate about how much RAM is in the Galaxy, some are saying GSMarena has made an error there, and there is some Samsung documentation which backs their claims. We'll know for certain very soon. In any case, GSMarena don't seem to think the Galaxy S suffers because of the RAM situation, probably on account of having a much more poweful GPU.

If there are more specific comparisons you'd like between the X10 and Desire let me know, and I'll do my best to answer them.
