Sprint Store Opening on 6/4??

First day Pre owner here and ready to jump ship, cant wait!...for those of you going to a Sprint store to purchase, does anyone know when they will open on 6/4? I remember for the Pre launch they opened a cuple hours early....

This is going to be a bigger launch than the pre IMHO ... so I would hope they'd do the same.. but I'm going to RS anyways so don't matter to me Where are you at in SoCal?

Evo had more pre-orders in the first three days than the pre did during its entire pre-sale period...this according to Sprint corporate representative I chatted with on the 15th (take as fact at your own risk).

My local Sprint store said that they will be open an hour early (8:00AM instead of 9) on the 4th.

I intend to be there much earlier than that.

Pre had much better pre-launch marketing though, didn't it? I think I saw commercials, print ads, and webvertisements everywhere about 30 days before launch. I think I even recall seeing Pre billboards scattered throughout the boroughs of NYC.

This may be a better phone, but neither HTC or Sprint are putting as much into as Palm did. I know Palm was desperate to sell the Pres, but at least they got the word out there.

I don't hear any random conversations about Evo or Sprint at the train station, in markets or malls, or anywhere but online. And there isn't anything online that's viral so I'd say HTC's right - the Evo will be "Quietly Brilliant."
