Buying the Incredible at Best Buy

My current phone I bought in January 2008. The 1.5-year contract I signed with it expired nearly a year ago.

If I found a Best Buy with the Incredible, would they allow me to upgrade for $199.99 on a 2-year contract?

How easy is it to work with the employees there to set up a new contract? Are they better or worse than Verizon employees?

yes... and its easy i got mine a few days after release day from bestbuy bc verizon was sold out and they where quick and easy

Best Buy is great and I even made them waive my activation fee and put on a free Zagg protector. They did a good install.

But DON'T do their Blacktie protection. It's horrendous.

Either go through your insurance company, asurion, or nothing at all.

Reports are people wait about 5 weeks to get their phone back and meanwhile you have to deposit 150 dollars to use a crappy old phone so essentially you are putting a $30 data fee down the drain on top.

It also does NOT cover lost or stolen.

As for lost or stolen, for the past phones that I have had that had insurance, its never because it was lost or stolen, its mostly because of damage.

Your welcome.. you bring in your phone. They ship it out. Then it has to get fixed. Then they have to ship it back.

If you have a Blackberry or Iphone the Btp is really good, Blackberry's we exchange right there on the spot and Iphones take about 3 days to get back.... I wish they would speed up all the Android phones though, a month is way to long

got mine at best buy last week and it was the last one in stock.manager gave it to me $ 150 threw in a zagg invisible shield and a body glove case w/holster .manager was great ,activated and switched contacts out of store in a half an hour .

And they also cover water damage, so it's ok to get a little wet as it will still get replaced. I pay $10 a month per phone for that coverage, which can be a lot...
