Cracked screen :( anyone help?

Ok so heres the deal. I was going to get my son from the bus stop and dropped my phone about 2 ft on to the driveway. The Screen is completely shattered. The phone still works but I'm kinda screwed at the moment.

I got Wirelesszone insurance and left asurion cause they told me it was cheaper, covers water dmg etc.. They didn't tell me is there is 30 day waiting period and i got the phone may 5th. I been looking online to see if i can find a new glasstop and replace it myself but i only found 1 on ebay for $125 and takes 2 weeks to arrive from China. I can wait until my 30 day waiting period and make a claim and pay $75 deductible, but I really don't want to have a shattered screen for 2 more weeks.

If anyone knows a site where I can get new topglass like asap I'd appreciate it. Thanks

That sucks. Parts are going to be hard to find for a while.

Honestly, best solution may be to use your old phone until the insurance kicks in (and try to get out of that policy and back into Asurian.)

i'm really starting to wonder about the design of these phones. Are iPhones (and other touchscreens) this easy to shatter? I literally have dropped my bb's and palms out of the car and proceeded to kick them across parking lots without cracking any screens.

+1 to this. As my I am amping up to go purchase one of these suckers, I keep getting the voice in the back of my head saying "to fragile! build quality!" etc.

I am sorry to hear about your phone though. Nightfishing is right, you won't find any parts right now. Hell, HTC can't even find parts! That is why they've delayed new Incredible shipments like they did.

Nope just bare phone. When I got the phone they didn't have any accessories in stock yet. I was gonna get some stuff this week but obviously a little late lmao... phone still works just gotta make sure i don't cut myself on the screen lol. I'll upload pic of screen later.. its really really bad.

Check your homeowners insurance coverage...You probably have a deductable, but if not you MAY have coverage. If you dont have a ded you could always add the phone, then wait a day and make a claim...it wont seem as fishy because you've only had the phone a few weeks

well I got the ins on the phone i just gotta wait until like june 5th before I can make my claim.. I think i'm gonna go get a plastic screen protector and put it on... the screen will still be jacked up, but atleast I won't cut myself trying to use it. When it first broke I got a glass shard stuck in my finger.

Its not really pink, I think it just looks that way from the picture.
