What should i do?!

PLEASE HELP.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but i would skip the whole gold card thing and just follow the 1-click method from the unlockr.

If you are purchasing a new MT3G that is loaded with 1.6 and you personally did not upgrade it from 1.5 they have no choice but to use the GOLD CARD the phone. Its a pain in the A@#$ and i also got stuck...

Did you do the unlocker one? Sounds like you have not properly rooted the phone. You may have missed a step. Trust me go slow

Just to make clear...
Original MT3G <-- No 3.5 jack and has 32b board
MT3G v1.2 <-- 3.5Jack 32a board

Both phones when purchased new WILL NEED GOLD CARD! They also require completely different software/programs/roms ... You can not MIX them

the 1 click method has the lick to the downgrade instructions in one of the first sections. Its a little scary at first, but it works, I did it for the first time about a month or two ago. I would advise against making super D one of your first roms though, load up an easier one first to get the feel then try out super D, its my favorite so far, but a bit more complex.

Can you provide me with a link to that method?

Cool!

Please share how you managed to get it to work.

Well unfortunately i had to go with the Goldcard method, i followed the unlockr.com guide. i got ADB to work and the card to work its kinda scary at first because it goes from being a Mytouch to being a Vodaphone magic, and the phone does get stuck alot, but if you follow the direction carefully you shouldnt have a problem! :)

P.S If your gonna do it, download ALL the files first

If any other questions your welcome to email me at Sergiolvrd@gmail.com
