OK I was trying to flash to 2.1.1 today and for some reason my phone isn't booting in recovery, when I try to boot in recovery (holdging end key + home key) it brings me to a white screen that basically only allows me to CLEARSTORAGE, whats going on?

This happened to me. I don't know what it was, but used the kitchen to boot me to recovery, and all was well again.

Well thats the thing... I've rooted, I currently have the 2.0d ROM, why would root hold? I'm going to try kitchen

Like I said, I had no prob using the kitchen to get to recovery. I was trying to help someone on here with this same prob, when it happened to me. It was really strange. I asked a few people about it, but no one knew what it was, I am going to post on xda and ask them....

I know how to get into recovery but it keeps on giving me the 3 androids on skateboards, and when I go on kitchen and try to go in recovery it does nothing

Plug your phone in, and set it to sync from the not. bar. Start up the kitchen and click tools. Queue up reboot recovery. As long as you see a thing at the bottom that says connected (on the lower left,) click Do Work (on the lower right) Should boot you right to recovery.

OK basically what I had to do was manually root all over again, basically it said that my "abd" was out of data or something along that line. Basically the rooting process takes you to the recovery screens when u go thru all of those prompts so I just flashed from the SD at that point, I wasn't able to get back to the recovery after I rebooted. I just flashed 2.1.1 so when everything comes back up I'll check if I could NOW get into recovery... but it looks like that "abd" is out of date (I downloaded this from the root tutorial at the top of the all things root forums)
