I have been here for a while and I have learned alot in a short period of time.
There are constant updates on ROMs and such posted, and it seems that minor issues get resolved quickly with the community's help.
Lets keep it up and maintain the fastest evolving and most stable platform - anDROID!

A few times I would have had to call cust service and possibly get a replacement, but because of support here - I am now hooked on fixing it myself at any cost

This is what Android is all about and why it is the best mobile OS available! I am amazed at the innovation of some of the people in this community! I'm not a "forum guy"...I have never signed up to any forum for reasons greater than being able to see hidden links that are only available to members. The people here are just top notch...and it is true that people make the difference! You just kind of get drawn in and I think this forum in particular is a difficult place to simply lurk around.

I used to be a post whore over at Beer Advocate (same avatar if anyone is there), but since I got my Droid, I've been hooked on AF. The community here is much more chill and it's actually informative vs the same bs everyday over there.
Can't wait to see the new Froyo ROMs. I wonder who's going to win, CM or Pete in getting the first one out!

Completely agree! Everyone here at AF is great! I frequent a number of Droid forums but this has always been my HQ for Droid info! Great info and great community.

Mods- Please move this thread to the appropriate forum. There is no room for thank you threads in the "root" forum. And this topic has been discussed many times. Please use the search function as there are many threads regarding "thanking people". just kidding. haha (actually there are no threads that have thank you as a topic, crazy huh)

Yeah this place is great. I know it doesn't seem much but I have over 400 posts in this forum. That's the most I ever posted on any forum I joined. It must be a great place if it kept me interested this long.
I try to hit the thank you button as many times that I can for helpful posts. It's also nice to see when my "thanked" count goes up because it feels like I'm actually contributing. I know a bunch of people helped my newbie butt a lot of times with this whole Android business.

So here's a thanks to all of you!
