What would you change about the Evo?

Obviously we don't all have our Evo's yet, but most of us have probably seen enough in the reviews and videos now to know if there's anything we wish would've been part of the Evo. I feel bad already talking about what could've been different with the best spec'd smartphone to date, but there's gotta be something to do to pass the time 'til June 4!

I for one wish there was a ringer/silent switch ala the iPhone, Palm phones, even some Moto's. I realize it's not that hard to turn the volume off but the sheer convenience of a switch would've been nice. I also would prefer hardware buttons ala the HD2 rather than touch sensitive ones, but I'll deal. Obviously I'm knit-picking here. I can't wait for this phone to be in my hands!

I'd get rid of Sense and just have stock Android running on it (preferably FroYo). Hardware-wise, the EVO is PERFECT.

If anything, I would upgrade the battery to a higher capacity one, and at least offered earbuds with the package....speaking of which, I probably would have opted for much cooler packaging (i.e. box and all).

Released Evo already.
Included some accessories - headphones, car dock, 4' micro-HDMI.
Eliminated all rebates and just charged a flat $299 for the phone (showing the total $ of extras included).
Included all channels on SprintTV.

Laughed at all other carriers who tried to show they could do anything to compete with me with this kind of package.

I'm holding it right now and a rocker switch would have been nice, but wont kill you and the touch buttons, they probably just wanted the all touch experience

After being screwed by AT&T with no vaseline since 2007, I gladly welcome a 10 dollar charge!

Seriously? Let's be realistic.

I would change internal storage to 1 TB. I would change battery life to 2 years. I would change 4G to 5G. I would change monthly bill to $0/month.

As far as changing the hardware, I'm having a hard time coming up with something.

Better quality pictures and higher bitrate 720p video recording come to mind.

Here is my list:

1. Add an internal 8GB flash memory like the Incredible
2. Add 850, 1900 and 2100 GSM 3G bands
3. Add a larger/more potent battery (without bulking up the phone any more)

If those things were added you would have a phone I marry.

I have been using mine since last thursday....the only thing i would change is the carrier. This is a great phone but data speed in orange county, ca is terrible. I have been using my verizon MIFI to get data to this thing.

Reviews have it that the sprint tv is not viewable thru the HDMI out to hdtv. I read somewhere a few weeks ago they have a code enbedded to perform this disservice. Being that the phone is allready rooted, anyone have any odds that this line can be 'omitted' to allow sprint tv media to be viewed on your tv?
