I thought it was the Luna theme I had over NexBeast, took that off and went to regular NexBeast with Nex theme. Still get this acore everyso often. NexBeast had the ADW launcher (beta) so I thought it was this - I went to the RC of ADW - still...

What could be causing this.?

On a side note, I am having issues installing and switching LWP in the system-app folders.

Why acore?
I am going to fix permissions right now.

As I said in the Nextheme thread, I think it's a combination of things, but mostly it's instability with overlaying 1.0.1 (if you did that) and using setCPU with a clock frequency that's too high for these ROMs.

FYI, I just got my phone last week and this was the first ROM that I installed. Also I don't use setCPU since it didn't seem necessary according to Pete. But I'm having this FC a couple of times every day. Not that annoying to me since I love the performance but if there is a fix that would be great.

I'm using the newest Nexbeast with the ADW launcher too and experience FCs with the home launcher/acore too. But it actually seems a little faster/more stable than the stock launcher I was using before the last NexBeast update. This has actually been a prob with me since I went to 2.1, even on the stock ROM with no modified software besides the kernel for OCing. Also, another 2.1 issue I've noticed is the icons on my home screen take a bit to load after having an app. open or the phone sitting idle for a while. Like the home/launcher gets purged from memory for some reason (even though I have it set to be locked in memory in the Spare Parts config).

Strange. I did a factory reset then loaded NB101 and it's been perfect without any acore FC's. I would suggest using Fab's link to the Launcher Pro.

I may try that, but I'm also thinking of flashing a custom CM ROM to try it out since all I've used so far is NexBeast. I mean what's the point of Root if you're not going to try other ROMS?:D Can I just say that I love this phone!!!

Fixing permissions via ROM Manager reduced severity from 15+ per 18 hour day to 2-3.

I did that already too, but yesterday I started using LauncherPro instead of ADW and so far I haven't seen any FC's. I really like ADW though and saw the post about RC2 I may try it to see if it's OK. Has anybody with the FC problem tried the RC2 yet?

Did you install RC2? Because NexBeast comes with a different version of ADW. You have to switch the launcher yourself. I can't say for sure it will solve the FC yet but I haven't gotten one yet. I just installed the RC2 this morning.

No I didnt have nexbeast, I went to the dev site and downloaded the apk and installed through root explorer. I'm running Chevys S.S. 3.2 - O.C. 1.1 (chevys kernal)
