Let's see your "Incredible" layout (Pun intended)

Not really sure. I do have Beautiful Widgets and Pure Calender running. Sounds like one of those may be the culprit. I also tried loading it up again to see if things improved, and the second i turned on Apps Manager i got another fc. If Pure Calender is the issue, i might have to stick with sense for the moment, as I'm using it for both my calender and task list functions- really nice widget imo. Any thoughts? Thanks folks

I have found that sometimes Beautiful Smaller Home will cause a FC for me. It isn't often but happens when either applying a new skin in landscape mode or when rotating the screen sometimes between landscape and portrait. It can can cause LauncherPro to crash. But it isn't frequent and everything seems to recover after the FC so I'll live with it for now.

Its in the widgets and there should be two of them. One says "Scanner Radio 1x2" and the other is "Scanner Radio 1x4." Select your Favorite location, back ground color, and then click on "Add Widget"

I figured it out - there was an update that I had to do to the application - before the update, there was no widget available. Thanks!

Where did you get the Scanner Radio widget? I have Scanner Radio but don't see it listed in widgets.

Not sure. It shows up on my widgets list. I actually have 2 - a 1x1 block or a 1x2 block (what I am using).

how do you get that Family contact shortcut?? can't figure it out!

EDIT: I meant to quote the previous message, sorry!

Scroll over once when adding the "people" widget. It allows you to select any of your folders listed in People. I just added my "family" folder.

That's the HTC's calendar. When you add the widget you can pick grid or agenda view. The red tip is the color you assign for you calendar in google calendar.

Sigh, I really want this calendar widget, but it is not in my widget list. Even when clicking on Get More HTC widgets, it is not in the list. The HTC Support site even indicates you can simply add the widget. I noticed a suggestion of wiping the device and it might be there, but I already did that once for the call quality issues and really don't want to go through setting up everything all over again.

really when you go to widgets you don't have one that says calendar??? I've wiped my device 5 or 6 times installed a hundred different apps and removed them and always had this available.

That's really odd. By default you should see these two options for calendars under widgets.

Selecting the HTC option will give you the following three choices.

Are you using a different launcher? if you are none of the htc widgets will show up..

Nope, I was using the default. I just did a factory reset and it is now there. On the unfortunate side, I thought AppBrain kept a history of your apps, so I didn't backup with Astro, just my settings. Where's the sad trombone app? I'm in need of that one at the moment.

Hey,

So I just added the Favorites widget, is there a way to have the option of calling, texting, or emailing each person. It only gives me the option of doing one and then I'm stuck with it.

Any ideas?
JSS12,

I just figured this out myself. If you hit the name only, not the picture, of the person on the Favorites widget it will bring up their details and you can select what you want, i.e. send message or call.

If you hit the picture it will give you the default that you set for that addition.

For example. If I hit the picture of my wife, I set it up to call her mobile, so it will call the mobile. If I want to text her, I can hit her name just below the picture then it will allow me to text her.

HTH!!!

Copy and paste is definitely easier (please note in the command prompt you cannot use the shortcut keys of CTRL + V to paste, you must right click and select paste)

One note is if you are using XP and it says "Documents and Settings you may have to put quotes around the line so it would read:

cd "C:\Documents and Settings\<yourusername>\Desktop\android-sdk_r05-windows\tools"

anyways, if anyone really needs more instruction just let me know and I can help out.

Exactly. One thing I do differently, which I think is easier than typing in what's underlined above, is actually navigate to the tools folder of the SDK and open that. In the "address bar" of the tools folder, when you click on it, it'll change to the path you would need to type. Copy and paste into the cmd window after you type in cd -space-

So for mine, it looks like this:

C:\Users\yourname>cd C:\Users\yourname\Desktop\android-sdk_r05-windows\android-sdk-windows\tools

push enter and you'll see:

C:\Users\yourname\Desktop\android-sdk_r05-windows\android-sdk-windows\tools>

type "ddms.bat" and push enter. Give it a second and you'll see the dalvik debug monitor

It's even easier if you navigate to the \tools folder, right click on the ddms.bat, and either create a shortcut to it, or send to the desktop as a shortcut. I have the ddms.bat as a shortcut on the desktop and when I double click it it opens up the program. I don't have to type or c/c/p that stuff each time.

Don't know if that's been posted before. I am sure it has, but just wanted to point that out for ease of use of the screen capture...

My screens from far left to right. Although after seeing Helix, I think I'm going to work on creating a setup with that.

Apps on the phone

I forgot to show it expanded, but the 'Games', 'My Apps', and 'My Contacts' use FolderOrganizer lite and Apps Organizer to give a nice dynamic shortcuts folder. (I didn't like the default android folders.)

Live Wallpaper is EarthRot. It's sweet.

In Screen 4. What is the clock and weather widget you use?

Thanks!

@TheGoatLantern... gobluejd nailed it. Scoremobile was recently released and is awesome. Especially for bettors like myself, it gives me a rough idea of the spreads and over/under lines for most games. I just wish it could launch my betting site for me!

I haven't noticed the Engadget widgets power drain yet but I do like the scrolling headlines enough to deal with it...for now. Keep the chargers close is my motto... unfortunately.

OK, mostly 'cause I spent a half hour getting the USB drivers for the Droid working on Windows 7, here's my layout. Since I tend to use my right when I'm working one-handed, I made an effort to keep everything within thumb reach. I'm also a bit of a minimalist, and I hate having piles of apps that I rarely use. Or slowdown (so no Live Wallpapers :( ). Also, only using five pages.
