if you're coming from HERO, watch this!

i just made a call with my hero and needed to immediately make a text afterwards....it took longer than id like to open handcent and then texting was very laggy...its weird, sometimes this phone uns like a dream and then it can be the most frustrating thing on earth...especially when i mostly need it to be smooth :/

I appreciate the vid but it seems like the rom your using on your hero is not too smooth. I am on Zen's rom and it's lightning fast compared to the one on the hero your using. Doing some of the things you did in the video, I did on mine and it seems much faster. Just a FYI....Again thanks for the vid.

Also can someone answer some of the questions I posted above about youtube and the htc keyboard lag when typing in forums. User TheBiles mentioned swype has no lag and I am aware of that because I have it on my hero and there is no lag there either. I am concerned with the htc keyboard.

oh ok, I didn't realize that, sorry. I notice in paticular the flixster app that was open in the vid shows the app opening right up and taking a long time with the hero. I think that was because the flixster app was running in the background and the hero was doing a fresh open of the app. The evo didn't even show the splash screen for the app opening at all. I know it's fast but that was a little too fast.

I believe the Hero has a 500mhz qualcom processor, which I believe is the same/similar to the touch diamond. The Snapdragon just came out and it would most certainly trash the 500mhz qualcomm as shown in this video.
