Nexus One or Motorola Milestone

I currently have an iphone 3g and have had enough with apples whole big brother type business strategy. I am still going to remain on AT&T unfortunitely and seeing as AT&T only has really bad android phones currently I am looking into getting either an unlocked Nexus One or Motorola Milestone. I have seen videos showing that the Nexus ones touchscreen can easily be confused with multitouch and was wondering if any of you have one and is this really an issue. I am also worried that the Milestones may not be updated to far past 2.2 as it has the slower processor. I just wanted all of your insight so that i could make a more informed decision.

Thank you in advance.

You're not going to get many people here recommending to get something other than a Nexus One. :)

I've never had the "touch screen confusion" problems you've mentioned. I don't know anything about the Milestone, either... other than it's a Motorola, and I've never liked their phones. My friend has the Droid, and it's a piece of garbage.

I had a MotoCLIQ before getting my Nexus, and it felt like a cheap toy, and the screen was terrible.

If your a hardcore emuoation gamer I would go with the Milestone due to the Game Gripper. Much more conveinent physical control experience. The N1 has the wiimote app you can use but its just not as conveinent as a small piece of plastic that is flush with the Milestone. This is the ONLY reason to go with the Milestone over the N1, everything else is in the N1's favor.

I've never really had a problem with the touchscreen on the nexus one, except for that period of two or three days where I was playing SNES games on it.

Since then, I've switched to using a wiimote. I bought the Datel retro controller, have not got it yet though.

I will be REALLY interested to find out if it works when you get it! :D

I don't really see a reason to pick the milestone over the N1. The motorola has a keyboard that's pretty much useless (crappy keys, no screen tilt, d-pad I mean c'mon). N1 has a faster processor and you get Froyo officially.

Only area where motorola is better is the touchscreen but since I've had no problems using the N1 that's really a minor one.
