Accessories Possible Fake 1750 mAh Battery... What was your packaging like?

I returned the flimsy 1750 mAh battery I got at the time I bought my phone and ordered a new one. The new one came today and the packaging is 100% different. This new one also came with charging instructions which the other did not. The new one also feels much more solid. What did your packaging look like? I've messaged Siedio and I'll post their response as soon as I have it.

As this battery is also for the Eris it may just be older packaging but with the limited battery life, poor construction and totally different packaging I want to be sure so I can notify Siedio and the vendor if its not legit.

Where did you order it from? I ordered mine from seidio's site. Mine has charging instructions and it's in plastic that pulls apart.

I ordered mine from Amazon and got the same packaging. I would be interested to see the OP's packaging...

I got the first one from amazon but it shipped from a vendor. The packaging was large, almond shape (when viewed from the top) and had a cardboard sleeve over the plastic.

The new one was just a simple plastic container which JUST fit the battery and buttoned at the top.

Is this package almond shaped when viewed from the top and where did you purchase this from? It looks SIMILAR to the first one I got.

I ordered mine directly from Seidio and it was just a clear plastic case, no boxed packaging like above, just a clear plastic box with a seidio logo in a fedex envelop

That's what my new one came in. With instructions behind the battery.

Andy, that sounds exactly like the packaging I got from seidio. The picture that was posted doesn't resemble my packaging at all.

Ordered from Amazon, May 8th. Never had a doubt about it not being real, I would put money on it. Performs well, exceeded my expectations.

Mine says almost nothing about the Droid - does yours? It does have that sticker on the left saying Eris compatible, but the only mention of the droid is on the barcode at the bottom. I'm thinking mine's just from an older batch.

I got the same plastic packaging from Amazon. I doubt that it would be a fake one considering that it was sent through Amazon and has met my expectations vs. the old battery.

There is no referance to any device at all on it. Nothing about Droid Incredible OR Eris or anything.
