Can't wait another moment to get your hands on this phone??
(Do you see what I did just then?? HA!)
Well good news for all of you thinkin' about switching to Sprint for this bad boy - You can now pre-order the Samsung Moment for $149!

Happy pre-ordering!

Edit: It looks like this will work for existing customers too, with a two year contract renewal. Link at the top. However it seems they won't be getting free shipping, so it'll be 159.98

seems that way but you'll still commit to a 2 year extension
And save $10 in shipping charges compared to cellstores.com

Or save $100 up front in rebate savings, and $30 less than the $179, and taxes of course.

However, I tried ordering from them, and got the run-around for two days now. They got about a dozen things wrong. I cannot recommend them one bit until my phone comes in.

I just ordered the phones from Wirefly yesterday morning, and they had some issues with porting the number, because my old Verizon account was in my dad's name and the Sprint account will be in my name.

But after they took care of that, the phone was shipped that same afternoon. I got 2 Moments, and an LG Lotus for $300 total. No taxes, and free shipping.

So, with these phone deals, are you stuck using the standard price plans, or can you get them and still use an employee referral or corporate discount plan?

Thx,
MLH

I'm pretty sure you can get the corporate discounts. As soon as I get my phones tomorrow and get them activated, I'm going to call Sprint to get all that done, and have them waive the activation fee.

I'll update tomorrow when I get the phones.

I got my phone yesterday. Right when it arrived, my 1 of my verizon phones were already ported, and the other 2 got ported about 30 minutes after that.

Then I called Sprint to get the activation fee waived, and they said there wasn't one on the account.

But I'll be confirming that today when I setup the online account. Anyways, for the price I would say that Wirefly is pretty good. I would doubt there's any way you could find a better price local, especially considering Wirefly doesn't charge tax in most states.

And as far as the phone goes, it's great. Just sucks that a few of the apps don't work on the moment just yet.

Bar code scanner is one. But they have already fixed it in the development builds. So they just need to release a new version and that will be fixed.

The good news is that there are a couple of other programs that use it that seem to work fine.

And there a talking caller id app that seems to be hit or miss. But I'm not sure how well it works on the other phones.

There were a couple of other ones, but I can't remember which ones. But they weren't any thing really important.

I did see that it was for new activations. I didn't see that it was out of stock, that sucks. I was thinking of bringing this in to a local 3rd party retailer and trying to get them to match that deal. Not currently a spring customer so it MAY work. Im sure that sprint wont match this though, so its up to the 3rd party guys to come through for me.

is any else pissed that the moment is 79.99 at amazon right now. I love my moment but it looks like i will be returning it. Theres no way I can keep it, the price dropped $100 dollars in two weeks. $100 dollars!! i still have a year left in my contract so i dont know what to do. I think the phone is amazing but if everyone else is getting it for $79.99 i want a great phone for $79.99 too..
