Looking to get a new BT headset. I want A2DP so I can listen to media. It's so tough to tell which headsets have A2DP, so I figured I'd post up for suggestions.

So far I've looked at:

Jabra Stone: Like the look, but reviews are poor

Jabra Extreme

BlueAnt Q1: Supposed to have some kind of Android specifics, but I couldn't find info. Also, voice control is not my thing.

Samsung WEP870: Kind of interested in hearing from someone who has this one. It just might work.

Wise and Blue WB130: Found it by luck. Never heard of the company, but reviews were good. Anyone have one?

Others?

at least imo. I personally use it everyday for music. I was using the Jabra 8010 see below

but that head set while having great bass is bulky and started to really bother my ear lobe wheras the H17 can be used without the ear loop ala James bond or secret service. Would also reccomend the Jabra8040.

PS: Im pretty sure most of the headsets you posted dont have a2dp! Any of the above three will do the trick. Good Luck!

According to diff reviews I've been looking at they do. But I know what you mean, it's hard to tell by reading product descriptions because they often don't list it.

The Jabra 8010 was on my long list. I thought it looked big, though.

I've had the Q1 for little bit and it was annoying trying to update the firmware to have the A2DP capabilities. I've also read around that some people also have had the same problem. I just ended up selling it. It was a great bluetooth headset, but trying to update the firmware to get that feature was a pain and never worked for me. So if you get this headset, I hope you don't go through the same thing.

If you can find a Jabra 8040 go for it.I had the Q1,and it was a pain trying to do the update to make it stream.I'm new on here but have been on another forum since 2003.I have tried most of the high end bt's and always go back to my 4 year old jabra bt8040.Just beware of knockoffs on ebay.
