Really? I thought they were or I must have read wrong.

Nope, taken from their site:

FAQs - BodyGuardz

2) Wet your hands with the application solution and keep them wet whenever you are handling the film. As you slowly remove the film from the liner, spray the sticky side with the application solution (DO NOT SPRAY YOUR DEVICE); this will stop the film from folding and sticking to itself before you lay it on the device. Be very careful not to drop the cut out or let it come into contact with any contaminated surfaces. Once the adhesive is contaminated with dirt it can't be cleaned!

I love my phones 'naked' too haha. But hate that risk of scratching it or something and so with this i have the protection with out a bulky case. and still have it look 'naked'

Yeah, I know what you mean...but don't these shields just protect from minor surface scratches? I can't imagine a plastic film protecting from much more than that. I just hope I never drop my EVO on anything other thancarpet.

My mistake. I meant ScreenGuardz not BodyGuardz. The screen are statically adhered.

are these statically adhered?

any type of full body protection by way of a clear protector, such as the body guardz, will not be static cling. you will need to use some sort of applicator solution to adhere it to your device. if you want to go naked, meaning without a case, then that will be the way to go. otherwise...

Steinheil, Clarivue, BoxWave, and Seidio offer static cling screen protectors. that + a case = the same thing as body guardz imo.

Having applied several of these over the years, I highly recommend that you be VERY LIBERAL with spraying down your hands and the screen protector. I will often spray portions of my device too, but DO THAT AT YOUR OWN RISK - bull the battery, etc.

just got full body zagg in the mail today. do you recommend applying it on the back piece while its on the phone or off the phone? I was gonna apply it to the back piece while it was off to minimize any solution leakage into the phone.
