Here's a 16GB Class 6 -
Amazon.com: BLAZING 16GB SDHC Class 6 ( Secure Digital High Capacity ) Memory Card for Kodak EasyShare C913 / C180 /…
Don't know about the brand, but it's a good price.
Side note, my 8 GB sandisk just crapped out on me. I'm transferring files to PC with a card reader and reformatting. Hopefully it fixes it.
That's not a micro-SD, is it?

While speed of card will not affect the phone it is nice having the higher speed to transfer files to and from memory card (via USB 2.0 card reader). I'm moving around files often and that is the main reason I went with a class 6 card.no that isnt.
just note that class only effects write speed. the read speed is dependent on the device itself and is usually higher (i beleive) then the class certifiaction anyways.
Class 2 will work fine enough on any phone.
You might want to pony up the extra bucks for a class 6/10 for a very nice camera, but probably not a phone since much of the use is reading, not writing.

Stam2000, inexpensive 16gb class 6 cards (made by reputable companies) are hard to come by. When ever I see one under $60 it is back-ordered. Avoid e-bay and sellers selling card with brand you have never heard of. Here is one for $60:

I just purchased this today:

Buying name brand memory cards like Sandisk is just wasting your money.
It's all made in the same factory in Taiwan then just packaged. 95% of manufacturers have lifetime warranties anyways.
People like Patriot, AData, Trancend, Centon, and PNY are putting out just as good if not better quality than Sandisk for less than half the price. Save your money.
I've had a 16gb micro SD card that is a class 2, I used it on a BB Tour 9630, an HTC Droid Eris and now the HTC Droid Incredible. I can't imagine spending more for a class 6, cause the class 2 has been fantastic on all three devices.
Class 6 is just for transferring speeds I don't think it affects how it performs in your phone.
you are correct Sir. which is why this discussion shouldn't keep popping up.
FWIW, it takes longer for my Pioneer headunit (AVIC 700) to update the catalogue on my Class 2 cards than my class 4/6. This is on initial loading of the card however.
I'd be curious to know what "longer" means. When you're talking about spending another 25% of the cost, you mean it takes another 1/2 second? or a full minute?
