Tests out as Type 2

Just wanted to throw this out there, the program does not know what type your card is, it just takes an estimation of the speed and says based on the speed you have a type ?.

My point being if you run the test with a type 6 and you get the results and it says type 2, make sure to post up so we can all avoid that brand. Vise versa with a type 2 that is running faster than it should.

As I know I would like to find a type 2 that is running 6 to 7mbs.

I have a 16GB Class 4 MicroSDHC Card from Sandisk. When I run the SD Card speed test on my Evo after the device has been on for a while, the write speed is listed as 1 or 2 MB/s and the read speed varies from 4 to 15MB/s. If I run the test immediately after rebooting the Evo, write speeds are listed in excess of 10MB/s and read speeds are around 14MB/s. It does not appear that I have any other programs using the memory card while the tests are running. Any thoughts on why the write/ read rate is so different in the two scenarios?

Newegg are crazy, yesterday I was going to buy the a-data 8gb class 6 for $21.49, until I saw the shipping charges to PR.

They want $26.08 for economy shipping via fedex.

How its possible that monoprice sent me a bunch of cables via usps priority that arrives in 3 days, for less than $10 bucks.

Anyone know other place?

I don't wan't ebay because of the fakes.
